Is Letterbird free?
Yes. You can find pen pals, write and receive letters for free on iPhone, Android and in your browser.
Is it safe for teenagers?
Members aged 13 to 17 are only ever matched with other members aged 13 to 17, and their letters can't include phone numbers, emails or social media handles.
What do other members see about me?
Your short ID, avatar, country, age group, languages and the profile you write. Never your email, birth date or real name.
How long does a letter take to arrive?
Usually a few hours, depending on the distance between you. That little wait is part of what makes it feel like a letter.
